In case anyone is interested, I thought I would explain how we chose which games would be used for the pool this year. In an effort to try to be fair to fans of all of the teams, we used the following criteria:
- Five games per week were chosen, between Wednesday and Saturday inclusive. Total of 130 games.
- Each game includes one Canadian based team and one US based team.
- Each Canadian based team is included in 18 or 19 of the games.
- Each US based team is included in 6 or 7 of the games.
This actually took the better part of two days to build the schedule and meet all of the criteria. As always, comments and suggestions are encouraged.
